The Workshop

I recently attended a Not-So-Basic Workshop by Melissa Koehler in San Diego, CA. It was an amazing experience where I was able to not only meet a bunch of wonderful photographers, but I was able to gain incredible knowledge from an astounding photographer. Melissa is truly wonderful at what she does.

I thought I'd share a few images from the shooting portion of the workshop. San Diego has some wonderful locations! I wish we had a open, grassy field like this accessible around here!

Despite the weather and Mother Nature who couldn't seem to make up her mind, this was a beautiful maternity session! The drizzle stopped just long enough for me to capture this gorgeous family. Little M (future big sister) was such a doll to photograph and can't wait for her little sister to make her grand appearance!!

I love, love, love outside Boudoir sessions. They really get my creative mind into full gear.

There are 2 parts to this Boudoir session... first she got hot & dirty in the desert...then soft & sensual in the sand. This sexy lady was going for a vintage look on top of a fast & racy dirt bike. Here is part one:

I know I always brag about how wonderful the families I work with are. This family is beautiful, fun and SO photogenic. I have known the proud mom for a long time and was THRILLED when she asked me to do her family portraits. I was also excited because I got to try out a few props and new additions to my ever expanding collection.
