Ladies Evening Out!

The particular shoot took place during what I call the "magic hour." This is the hour before sundown where the lighting is just perfect. For natural light photographer, lighting is everything! To top it off, this was taken at my favorite location. This beautiful mommy happens to be a part of my mommy circle and I was so pleased she wanted a shoot of her & her adorable daughter for her husband for Father's Day. Perfect gift, I am sure he will treasure these images of his gorgeous girls!

I played with some On The Spot Studio actions on these two images, though uploaded online doesn't do them justice!

In this particular spot, the golden sundown was bouncing off the walls just enough to give this image a golden accent! (P.S.This image is basically straight out of the camera! LOVE magic hour!!)

LifeStyle Photography: Twins!

These 18 month old twins are just the cutest things ever, and boy, are they BUSY. I'll admit, they wanted NOTHING to do with me. haha. They were way too busy enjoying themselves at a local park. But this leaves the perfect opportunity to get candid, REAL shots. All images were not posed or planned. They were simply caught in their adorable toddler moments. All expressions are real and show their stellar personailities. And I have to give major credit to their amazing parents... they make raising twins look EASY. Thanks for a wonderful afternoon of keeping me on my toes!

Sunflare and a Sneak Peek!

Sunflare is a trend that you find in many photographers' portfolio. Sunflare is basically when you take a photograph and direct sunlight contacts the many pieces of glass in your lens, it usually creates reflections and flares in your photographs. I'll admit, I have not really been a fan of it. However, I have seen so many inspirational images with this effect so tastefully done. I had the perfect opportunity to try this myself at a recent shoot. A stunning mom and a gorgeous little girl at my favorite location, and the sun in the perfect spot. What else could I ask for?!?

The Martyrs @ Chain Reaction in Anaheim, CA

The Martrys were playing at Chain Reaction in Anaheim, CA and invited me along to shoot them as they played. We got in a pre-show shoot to get some band shots of the three of them. I had a lot of fun with these guys and I really got to show my edgier side to photography.

Thanks guys for having me come along, this was definitely one of the funest shoots yet! Here are a few from the pre-shoot. This location was awesome! This grafitti alley could not have been more perfect for this!

Baby Bump

I had the great pleasure of photographing Sharoni as she patiently waits for the arrival of #2. I have known Sharoni for a few years now and we are a part of an amazing mommy group. Her daughter is just the cutest thing and I can't wait to meet her new little guy! Not to mention they are just about the most photogenic family on the planet! Goregous!
